I think I must have missed something during the past several months coverage of the Nigel Wright—Mike Duffey affair.
Why was it necessary for Wright to pass $90,000 over to Duffey in the first place?
With Senator Duffy’s quite handsome salary, plus his considerable incidental expenses, what had he done with all his money?
Had he been overly generous regarding his many donations to charity.
Or perhaps secretly buried a modest treasure chest in some remote corner along a Prince Edward Island sandy beach and then, overly busy with other duties,
carelessly forgotten exactly where?
I expect there’s just a simple explanation. But it’s puzzling to me.
